You Are Your Biggest Enemy



Have you ever felt like you are your biggest enemy?


Sometimes we are just so mean to ourselves!


We think bad thoughts about our looks, our way of speaking, and our work performance-just to name a few
We can hold ourselves back from doing the things we really want to
Maybe with words like "Everybody will think I am weird"
Which is so odd because did everybody say "You are so weird if you do that...."


Not really


So why do we want to bully ourselves all the time?
Where does that come from?


It's almost like feeling good about yourself has become so rare in our society


It shouldn't be that way


We shouldn't be so hard on ourselves, it makes us unhappy!!


If you are your own biggest advocate then looking for other people's approval is unnecessary


If you took the time to build yourself up and make yourself feel good then nobody can come in the way of your happiness
Try to stop that pattern of thinking where all you do is tear yourself down
Listen to your thoughts and zone in on those pesky negative ones and replace them with good ones!


Controlling how you think takes practice because we are so stuck in our ways


And none of this is to be ashamed of, we all harshly critizice ourselves! You're not alone


Stop holding a grudge against yourself for making mistakes! We all make mistakes constantly, there's no avoiding that


Love yourself and everyone else will too! (sounds cheesy but it's absolutely true)
People don't want to have to be a mirror instead of a friend and constantly remind you you don't suck


Just love you and be you!
