Settling In A Relationship
Why do we always settle?
Most relationships today have negative answers to "Do they make me happy?" "Do they respect me?" or "Do we have the same values?" "Am I satisfied in this relationship?"
There is a long list of fundamental questions to ask in a relationship to determine whether or not it is worth your time
Yes love is a big part but that's not all!
You could love someone who doesn't even like you so easily
It is about taking a look at how you feel in the relationship, if you feel amazing and great then it probably is
But if you are plagued with worries and stress then why stick around?
Life's short and wasting time with a person that doesn't deserve your time is stupid
We shouldn't settle for anyone, we should feel lucky!
Analyze the different parts of your relationship, each others values, each others flaws, look at how well you two work together
Remember it's not about being clones, it's about compatibility
Take an outside look at the quality of the relationship and be critical instead of lenient
Ask yourself obvious questions like if you are happy, if your needs are being satisfied
And just do not settle! The bond won't last that way and it is NOT worth it

My Birthday
It is my birthday today, whoo hoo!!
It's kind of funny how we celebrate them and mark every year we get older
We should base our success on how healthy we are as we age! Not by a silly number
Being healthy can not be taken for granted
It is so precious even though we don't really pay attention to it
It could take years of poor eating and bad habits to affect your health
but when it does, it won't be pretty!
Just because it isn't an instant thing, don't be dumb about your health
Imagine being older hooked up to a breathing tank, relying on it to simply breathe!
then imagine being older jogging in a beautiful forest, breathing in that clean air
Which do you want?
And here is the truth if you want to jog in a forest later in life ha
You need to start now, start eating better and exercising
It really helps your mood, how you feel, overall health, everything!
You will feel amazing if you give up KFC more often lol
There is no two ways about it!
Either do your body good or suffer some painful uncomfortable consequences
We all know what we should be doing for our health
Now let's just DO it already!!!!!

Self Esteem Boost
Write a list of all the things you like about yourself
"Nice hair, pretty eyes, good sense of humor....."
They can even be small things like "I"m a tidy person"
Write what you like about your looks
Your personality
Your accomplishments
Your goals
Write everything good about all that is you!
Your self esteem will be through the roof when you realize your list is getting pretty big! haha
Keep going until you have filled the page up
Then keep this list to look at later when you're feeling down

Word Journal
Here is a great tip to keep your goals in sight and keep you in a good mood!
Take some sort of scrapbook, Just a book with a lot of blank white pages
Everyday write in it words
The words can be colorful or plain, whatever suits you
Make one page about your dreams
It could say "Fashion career, family, nice house etc etc"
Use words to describe the life you want (make them all positive)
Then everyday use your creativity to write a page with just random words on things you like or would like!
And I don't mean writing as in writing a story
I mean just one phrase each, floating around, like the dream board only with just words!
Then whenever you want you can look at these words and visualize them in your mind
Seeing what you want outside your head helps you stay focused on them!

A Wonderful Thought......
A wonderful thought just popped into my head.....
When striving for your biggest most amazing fantastic dreams that would make you the happiest person alive,
You don't need to know how you will get there
That's the beauty of the universe, it figures out the "how"
You just need to get going
Start going down that road to your goals and all these opportunities will appear
Let's say you got in your car and went on a random road trip to go somewhere amazing
But you didn't know exactly how to get there....
You would check for road signs along the way not try and predict where to turn on your own (we aren't all psychic!)
That's half the fun of life, not knowing!
Quit trying to predict the signs and just get going!!!

Learn A New Language
Wouldn't it be really cool to learn a new language?
That can seem like a hard task but then how do others do it?
Find some free software online to teach you and try and learn one new thing a day
By only learning one or two things a day you can not feel so overwhelmed by learning this complex language!
It really isn't that hard!
Set small language goals and work more and more until you can speak sentences, have a full convo, and eventually become a fluent speaker
How much of a confidence booster is that??
"Oh yeah I can speak...." That really is great to be able to say
You could meet people of that country and become friends with them
It can open up more career opportunies too!
Go try it! And have fun doing it!

Parents
Parents can become the number one hindrance when trying to follow your dreams
They should encourage you but sometimes we aren't so lucky
Our parents can be a big obstacle with all their negativity and close mindedness
They can say things like "You can't do that" or "All you'll ever be is..."
That isn't very nice to hear is it?
It can be very difficult to follow your dreams when all you hear is no no no
You can have all the determination but when your constantly hearing no from someone important in your life, that can really put a downer on things
But you know what?
Their opinion doesn't matter when it is something you love
Never listen to anyone that tells you "you can't" because in all reality they can't and they are trying to project that onto you
Only truly happy people encourage others to be happy too
So if you are around unhappy people, guess what, you will be too
Let them be unhappy, let them do what they want, let them say whatever they want
But you will not be the audience anymore
Let you be your biggest cheerleader and you can make your dreams come true

What is the worst that can happen?

Somebody goes Saw style on you and kills you because you quit your job and opened a new business?

Stop dreaming up worst case scenarios just to get out of being truly happy
Take a risk and enjoy the benefits
or fail and learn from your mistake
That's all folks, super simple, super easy!
Not everyone is out to get you!
Success doesn't happen without a lot of rejection and failing, it has to be that way or everybody would be succeeding in life because it was so easy right? right
Be the one that was courageous enough to go for what they want full speed!

The Basics
Let's get back to the basics
Tons of people neglect the basics in life and then wonder why their lives aren't how they want it to be
First things first, self esteem, if you don't feel like you are worth having the best, you will never have it because you can't accept that you deserve it!
Next is confidence, self esteem and confidence seem to be the same but they aren't. Self esteem is feeling good about you and loving yourself but without confidence those will take you no where. Confidence gets you to take risks, it makes you feel secure whilst taking your risks. Risk is the only way to get anywhere in life.
Morals, have your own set of morals and rules and stick with them. Don't let other people sway you because if you do, you're trying to be like them, and trying to be like others messes you up! Anyone who has ever became successful in life did it their OWN way, not by following others. You are you, own it, live it, love it.
The rest will follow. If you are true to you, love and respect you, and stay firm with what you want and do what you love to do NO ONE and nothing can stop you! It's as easy as that :)
You make your future happen, you decide, you are in control, some people don't know what to do with that much power so they give it up and let fear take over because it's easier. Life shouldn't be easy, if it's easy then man it becomes SO boring!!

Try making an extremely long list of everything you want in life
From small to really big things
Make a list!
It could be "Keep my room cleaner for longer" or
"become a millionaire"
small and big should go on this list
write it all down with check marks next to each one
pick one to accomplish in a week, month, whatever time you set, then stick with it!
this way all your focus is on one thing at a time instead of a bunch of things that will mess up the process
I believe you can make every single thing on your list happen, now you believe it too!
